City Solar Renewable Energy

Donations

City Solar needs a pro bono lawyer to help us get started, who knows about integrating a for profit and not for profit business. We need help on doing it correctly.
In addition we also need a pro bono tax accountant to help us get started, who knows how to do the taxes correctly, for example if City Solar has a subsidiary that is not-for-profit and can accept tax-deductible donations (then we could accept major funding for group projects, such as installations in individual gardens, grouped together.
We can develop our for profit installation, and workshops(or are they best non-profit?) business as well.
Please contact us at info@citysolar.org Thank you.
Ongoing Projects

615 Green Community Garden, Brooklyn

To complete the solar Ray installation, not simply make it functional (ie, a battery between the panels and the pumps) 615 Green needs a total of 3 batteries, charge controller, battery box, timer, and two more solar modules. That will cost approximately $2500-$3000 in equipment. If you have any equipment to donate- that is a prostar 30m charge controller, 64 watt Unisolar modules, 126amp hour batteries (in excellent condition) a Lumenite 12VDC digital timer- please contact us at info@citysolar.org Thank you.

If you would like to donate funds to 615 Green's Ray Project, it is a tax-deductible contribution and can be made by check at the garden's website.

If you would like to support City Solar's efforts in general we will greatfully accept your donations, although they will not be tax deductible. Please mail us a check to City Solar, 531A 6th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
